Returns
Digital products
We hope you will be completely satisfied with any product purchased from us. However, if you would like to withdraw from the purchase of your digital product you can do so by requesting a return within 14 days of purchase once you have not downloaded or begun using the product/service.
Refunds of downloaded products or after commencement of a digital course may be granted under the following circumstances:
- The digital product is faulty or not as described
- The product was not delivered or accessible after purchase.
If you believe you qualify for a refund, contact us at training@dogstrust.ie with your order details and a description of the issue.
We cannot issue refunds for:
- Change of mind once the digital product is downloaded or accessed.
- User error
Event tickets
We’re committed to making our events as accessible and fair as possible. To help us manage attendance and ensure everyone has the opportunity to take part, we’ve outlined our refund and cancellation policy below.
Free Events:
- Cancellations: If you’ve reserved a place at a free event and can no longer attend, please cancel your booking as early as possible. This allows us to offer your place to someone on the waitlist.
- Waitlists: For high-demand events, our booking system includes a waitlist feature. If a spot becomes available, it will be automatically offered to the next person in line.
Paid Events:
- Refund Requests: Under Irish law, consumers are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period for most online purchases. However, this right does not apply to leisure services (including event tickets) for specific dates.
- Our Policy: We offer goodwill refunds for paid event tickets if requested at least 48 hours before the event. After this point, refunds may not be issued unless the event is cancelled or significantly changed by us.
Events Including Downloadable Resources:
If your event ticket includes downloadable materials (e.g. guides, videos, templates), please note:
The ticket price includes access to digital materials, and our refund policy for digital products applies in this case.
Once you have accessed or downloaded the resources, you are no longer entitled to a refund, even if you cannot attend the live event. Excepting in the case that:
- The digital product is faulty or not as described
- The product was not delivered or accessible after purchase.
You may continue to use the resources as per the usage terms provided.
Event Cancellations (by Us):
If we cancel or postpone an event, you will be notified as soon as possible:
- For free events, your ticket will be voided.
- For paid events, you will receive a full refund unless otherwise stated or offered the option to transfer your booking.
Refunds
All refunds will be processed in accordance with our returns policy.
Return requests will be checked by a member of our team and if applicable, an email will be sent confirming the refund.
After you have received the refund email, please allow 7—10 business days for the refund to be credited to your account.
